This important informational video shows you the subtleties of diamond theft. Based on the novel Diebstahl der Diamant, you too can learn the ins and outs of thievery. In German.
So, grade 12 came rolling around (the first time), and I needed to take a third language to get my diploma. So I signed up for Grade 10 Introductory German. Turns out my buddy Bryson was also in the class, so we did most of our group assignments together, to avoid contact with the smelly little grade 10s, all of whom we made up our own names for, so that we could identify them by their features or annoying traits, rather than their names. Oh, and there was also the kid I called Fire Hydrant.
Our year end project was to do a presentation infront of the class, having to do with this book we had been reading throughout the year, about a diamond theif. Instead of doing a presentation like we were told to do, we made this video instead, which we showed to the class. I finally got around to putting on the subtitles, so here it is for you to enjoy.
This is the movie I made back in highschool. You need to have at least Flash version 8.0 installed to view these movies.
My 'German Name' was Otto, and Bryson's was Rüdiger. Classroom names, nothing more.
Also, the URL at the end of the movie was our old website, which had comics and rants and stuff on it, but since then I've taken it down, so don't bother looking for it. It doesn't exist.

If you speak or understand German, I appologize for my... not-being-able-to-ed-ness.
It was an introduction to german course, so give me a break.

That was a great video, in retrospect.
A little update, however.. the book was Der Verlorne Koffer. I remember it now. Its Oprah's Booklist. you should check it out.
