Weather Script v.2 Weather Script v.2
Latest, and recommended version of my weather script.
Major updates from the initial version include: object oriented style, superior configuration and customization capabilites, ability to show longer text descriptions and current information (if available), selectable display formats pre-programmed in, and better written code.
HotScripts Script HotScripts Script
This script displays the current rating, number of votes, as well as the number of hits for your script on HotScripts.com. It also provides a voting box for your script, so that people can vote on your script at HotScripts.com from your site.
MySQL Cache Script MySQL Cache Script
This script cache's a variable or an array of variables for a specified amount of time in a MySQL table. Useful for pages that fetch data from other websites, so that you don't have to query the remote site every time you want data.
Latest Version Checker Script Latest Version Checker Script
This script collects information about the currently installed versions of Apache, PHP, Zend Optimizer, MySQL and phpMyAdmin and compairs them to the latest stable releases of each of the programs, and notifys you with a highlighted row if one of the versions isn't up to date.
Weather Script Weather Script
Older version, not as good as v.2
This magnificent piece of code leeches weather information off of Environment Canada's weather page, and displays it in a much neater, and nicer format on your own website. you just include the page, and place $weather somewhere, and BAM! Instant weathery goodness.
MSN Emoticons Script MSN Emoticons Script
This little chunk of code takes the string passed to it, and replaces any instances of MSN Emoticon codes with the corrisponding icon. It's pretty basic, but still makes any page more friendlier, and familiar. All of the images and key codes are the same as with MSN Messenger 7, but could be easily changed to suit your needs.
